The requirement exists to hire two Business Analysts. Joining the team in Boston these individuals will be responsible for looking at individual departments and functions within a Financial Services organization and the procurement operations that pertain to them. • The Analyst will closely review current internal procedure and current spend • Will look into legacy suppliers, vendor relationships, agreements and negotiations • Will analyze the market alternatives and operational improvements available • Will form proposals to raise to senior management regarding: Process improvement • Staff augmentation • Improved vendor negotiations/strategy • Alternative vendor options • Advantages of aggregated procurement policies between different departments Who we are looking for • The ideal candidate will have two to four years experience within procurement and analytics. • They will have a strong analytical ability combined with excellent communication and presentation skills as well a presence in front of internal clients, with the ability to move amongst variable layers within the organization. • Due to the nature of the role and the challenges faced, the successful candidate will be well versed in change management skills and conflict management. • A self sufficient and high energy nature is required. • The preference will be for a candidate from a procurement background and working knowledge of ARIBA spend management software (****is highly desirable.
