Description: This position's primary responsibility is to coordinate all necessary steps to deliver proposals to clients. This job comes with strict deadlines to meet clients' quality standards and detailed requirements. As the proposal coordinator, the ideal candidate will work to edit and format proposal documents; will develop templates for current and future proposals; and ensure established templates are followed; will work with the proposal team to ensure key milestones are achieved and deadlines are met. Candidate must be able to multi-task effectively; will also be responsible for communicating the progress of proposals to management and the rest of the team; also involved in the day-to-day operation of the Proposal Center.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the US as a Permanent Resident.

• Applicant must be highly experienced utilizing Microsoft Office at an expert level (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note)

• Experienced with Adobe Acrobat Professional

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, to work well under pressure and on short deadlines.

• Be a self-starter and a exhibit a willingness to learn

• Ability to work overtime when needed (MUST)

• Ability to travel when needed (MUST)

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work quickly and accurately,

• Good interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work well as member of a team, including virtual teams

• Keen attention to detail and experience formatting large documents is essential.

• Ability to set effective priorities and meet deadlines under tight schedules

• Familiarity with graphics applications (PowerPoint) and SharePoint

• Some experience in publications processes and standards

• Experience producing large, complex documents through production and reproduction

• Willingness and the ability to work extended hours when required

• Willingness and ability to travel to other locations as required in support of mission

• Ability to take direction well and request information or ask questions when needed

• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment

• Ability to take feedback and creative evaluation professionally, using it to refine projects

• Ability to follow established workflow and project management tools and procedures.
